Sarah Johnston – Owner
Sarah (Hamlin) Johnston and Mark Johnston started Unlimited Promotions in 2001. That same year, they planned and celebrated their wedding. In 2010, Unlimited Promotions officially changed it’s name to PromoSpark.
Sarah and Mark have two sons who enjoy being as active as they are. As a family, their passions include traveling, hiking, riding roller coasters and helping others. In 2014, Mark and Sarah started Free Throws For Kids, a philanthropy supporting children and families staying at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
Fun Fact about Sarah: She can walk on her hands!
Mark Johnston – Owner
Mark graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2001, and started PromoSpark one month later with his (now) wife Sarah Johnston. He has helped shape PromoSpark into where it stands today, and continues with the overall vision and sales focus.
He has traveled to many different countries and been to many states in the U.S. His hobbies include spending time with his family and friends, going out to dinner, working out, traveling, coaching his sons, watching sporting events, helping Free Throws for Kids grow and more!
Fun Fact about Mark: He has been to two Super Bowls!

Sarah Ellis – Vice President
Sarah graduated from Georgetown College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Science in 2005. She began working for PromoSpark in 2007 as a Customer Service Rep. She is now Vice President, focusing on day-to-day operations. She loves growing with the company and can’t imagine life without the work she does and the customers and co-workers she has met throughout the years.
Sarah is married with two rambunctious boys that keep her on her toes, 2 dogs and 2 cats. Her hobbies include photography, rock climbing, biking, hiking, reading, spending time with family and friends. Sarah enjoys vacations at the beach, her favorite being St. Thomas (she has been there twice!), but her dream destination is Italy.
Fun Fact about Sarah: She was the only girl born to the Hollingsworth family for over 125 years.
Hanna Byrd – Inside Sales Rep
Hanna was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated from Northwest High School and attended Cincinnati State for a year. She has been with PromoSpark since 2012, and specializes in working with university organizations, races and non-profits.
She loves soccer and has played most of her life. She has a son and a wonderful husband. Her hobbies include line dancing, going to the park with her son, reading and rock climbing. She has never been out of the country, but would love to go to England.
Fun Fact about Hanna: She likes to eat ketchup on her steak!
Tom Badger – Key Account Executive
Tom works with businesses, non-profits, and races both locally and across the country. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University and still likes to cheer on his team. He spends as much time as he can with his two awesome teenagers. His hobbies include running, playing tennis and basketball and volunteering for any group that involves helping kids.
Fun Facts about Tom: He has dabbled in stand-up comedy and only likes vegetables that are two syllables or less.
Amy Wiehaus – Graphic Design
Amy graduated from Colerain High School, attended Shawnee State University and in 2014 she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. Some of her hobbies include painting, shopping and cooking. She loves traveling and someday wants to visit Australia. The furthest away from home she has traveled to is Denmark.
Fun Fact about Amy: She has been stung by a stingray. Yikes!
Amber Steward – Research & Development
Amber graduated with a dual concentration BBA in Medical Administration & Accounting and is currently pursuing a MBA in Marketing. She is happily married to her high school sweetheart and has two daughters. In her spare time she enjoys adult coloring, as well as writing fictional novels and children’s books. Most of her time outside of work is spent homeschooling her children. Places on her travel list include Ireland, Germany, and Japan.
Fun Fact about Amber: Her daughter has a YouTube channel called Baking with Kids!
Rebekah Law – Purchasing & Logistics
Rebekah graduated from Asbury University in 2015, with a degree in Psychology. Originally from Zanesville, she now lives in Fairfield with her black lab Samson. She joined the PromoSpark team in 2015. Some of her hobbies include going to concerts, cooking, and being with family.
Fun Fact about Rebekah: She can play the piano, flute and guitar!
Stephanie Faries – Accounting
Stephanie is from Middletown, Ohio. She was a stay at home mom to her two children for 10 years. Prior to that she worked in various office settings in both the private and non-profit sectors. When she’s not in the office, you will most likely find her on a pool deck with her son’s swim team. Her favorite place to travel is any beach.
Fun Fact about Stephanie: She dressed up as a mime for Senior Dress Up Day and no one knew who she was!
Stephanie Raker – Project Manager
Stephanie has been married to Jeff for 30 years and together they have 3 children and two grandchildren. She has her Bachelors of Psychology and Masters of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati. In her spare time, she enjoys quilt designing and other sewing crafts. She and her husband love to travel and have been to Alaska, Greece, Israel, Italy, England (for the 2012 Olympics), Scotland and on multiple Caribbean cruises. Their next destination is Hawaii and possibly another mission trip to Haiti to work with the people and missionaries who serve them.
Fun Fact about Stephanie: She is a cat person! However, she is currently catless as everyone else in the family is allergic.
Emily Dennis – Key Account Executive
Born and raised in Northern California, she moved to Ohio to attend Miami University and be near a big part of her family. Graduated from Miami in 2013 with a Bachelors in Integrative Studies focusing on Organizational Leadership and Applied Sociology. She started her first career in wine & spirit sales, but has since moved into the Key Account Executive role with PromoSpark and couldn’t be happier. Her weekends are spent with her 2 beautiful dogs, her boyfriend, and his daughter. Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, hiking, cooking, baseball, movies, and traveling.
Fun Fact about Emily: She has been to 14 Major League Ballparks!
